This past Friday, I was lucky enough to make it to an incredible plus size fashion event during Miami Swim Week, the Ego Trip Swimsuit Soirée! It was my first time at a plus size event, and I felt like I had died and gone to curvy heaven!
As you may know already, I love pins – so much that I’m very much aware that my collection will never be complete. When I found out that Punky Pins and the Australian visual artist and total babe Mel Stringer were going to do a collab together I flipped! When they told me they were to send me the collection to review? I was over the moon! All 8 pieces are all absolutely beautiful, unique and inclusive!
Each pin comes fixed to a small card that features both Punky Pin’s and Mel Stringer’s branding on it, you can tell by simply looking at them that a lot of thought went into the packaging. They are all very high quality, vibrant, sassy and full of body positivism! I absolutely love the message behind them, some of my personal favorites are Lola, Boot-iful Girl and Love Your Body.
This latest Punky Pins‘ collection might be their best yet, it’s by far one of my top favorites. My first instinct was to applaud them for making such a wonderful statement and to this day I’m still praising them. Yay for self-love, feminism, inclusion, all things pastel, and the celebration all bodies!
If you want to get your hands on this wonderful pins you’re in luck because they are currently on sale for £5.25! ($6.77) You can also enter my giveaway for a chance to win your choice of 3 pins from their collection by simply completing the steps bellow!
All my love,
March is almost over, meaning the first day of Spring was only a couple days ago. So, I’m celebrating with two looks from Catherines!
My mindset has officially transitioned into the very much awaited new season; floral prints and, one of my favorite trends for Spring, stripes.
I’ve been preparing my Spring closet with tons of finds including this bright and sweet Paradisio Maxi. It’s such an airy and flowy dress, which makes it perfect for Spring and throughout Summer. How fun is the mix of stripes and florals?! I also adore the dramatic beaded neckline! I paired it with a black belt to define my curves and out the door I went!
I can pretty much LIVE in maxi dresses so I’m loving that Catherines has so many amazing options for Spring in pretty pastel colors, variety of price points and even offer petite friendly versions for short gals like me.
This second dress (La Flor Lace Dress) is so feminine and beautiful. I love all of the detailing, especially the sleeves and of course, the bright pop of color that goes well with Miami or any Summer destination.
I was hesitant to get it at first because I am not really used to wearing knee length dresses. Being so petite, I’m always was afraid this type of dresses will overwhelm me. But when I got it, I fell in love with the pretty bright color, lace and how beautifully the dress hung.
All my love,

I recently received this wonderful Endless Love Hi-Lo shirt from Eleven60, a bold and sassy clothing line dedicated to plus sized women. The pieces are designed by the super-talented Kierra Sheard, who as a curvy woman herself, understands the need for clothing that compliments everybody.
Love yourself first this coming Valentine’s Day! Buy yourself flowers, eat all the chocolate you want, and rock your favorite piece of lingerie (or whatever makes you feel confident and empowered) around your house! You deserve it! Even if you don’t have a partner, because guess what? Love isn’t only about romance. So go have a good time with friends, pets and family. Or stay home and pamper and show yourself some love, it makes perfect sense!
Do you want rock that confidence and celebrate with me? I have two wonderful looks from two of my favorite brands when it comes to lingerie and hosiery. Which is something that always does the job when I want to feel empowered. And while you’re at it, why not get a few items for yourself? There’s no harm in treating yourself right?!
